Inclusive Innovation Conference (IIC)

The Department of Trade and Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Group (DTI-CIG) spearheaded and organized the annual INCLUSIVE INNOVATION CONFERENCE (IIC) on May 25-26, 2022, at the Batangas State University Pablo Borbon and Alangilan Campuses, Batangas City from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The IIC has served as platform for key public and private stakeholders in the academe, industry, and government to take stock of the country’s programs and initiatives in innovation and entrepreneurship, reset innovation goals and strategies, and launch collaborative programs on innovation and entrepreneurship among stakeholders in the public and private sectors. The event assembled high-level officials from government, C-level industry executives and university presidents and chancellors, and their vice presidents and vice chancellors in research and extension, and innovation. In support of this event, BatStateU ACTION Center ran a 24-hour operation from May 24-26, 2022, to maintain peace and order within the Pablo Borbon campus perimeter, as well as handle internal and external communication and coordination with all units/agencies required to respond in the event of a crisis or emergency.
